10 month15 to16 on the same day, the first board meeting of Xi'an Jiaotong University Cable Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "Cable Research Institute") was successfully held in Deqing, Zhejiang Province. Wang Tingge, chairman of the board of directors, Secretary of the Party committee and chairman of the board of directors of the Cable Research Institute, attended and presided over the meeting.

The meeting produced the first council of the Cable Research Institute. The council members were jointly nominated by the recommend of Zhongda, Xi 'an Jiaotong University, Zhongda Industry and Zhongda Yuantong Cable. They were Wang Tingge, Bian Chaohong, Yang Zhenghong, Li Jing, Wu Kai, Xu Yang, Zhu Qingbo, Zhang Li, Yang Zhaowen and Li Weigang. The council elected Wang Tingge as the chairman, don't Chao Hong, Yang Zhenghong, Li Jing, Wu Kai and Zhang Li served as vice chairmen.

At the same time, the meeting examined and adopted the articles of association, institutional settings and the relevant management personnel of the Cable Research Institute, set up the academic Advisory Committee of the Cable Research Institute and other organizations, and listened to the medium-and long-term development ideas of the Cable Research Institute.

At the seminar on innovation and development of Zhongda Yuantong cable industry held on the morning of October 16, Liu ying, associate professor of CIGRE SC B1 research Committee of Xi 'an Jiaotong University, Li weigang, president of cable research institute, Wu kai, leading professor of electrical engineering college of Xi 'an Jiaotong University, chief engineer of Shanghai cable Hui monitoring technology co., ltd, and Wu changshun, visiting professor of Xi 'an Jiaotong University-Zhongda Yuantong joint innovation research center, as well as five people, including Yang Zhaowen, member of the party committee of Zhongda Industrial and chairman and general manager of Zhongda Yuantong Cable Co., Ltd., focused on the theory, application, management mode, intelligent manufacturing and business model of the cable industry, and shared the theme from their respective professional fields.

Yu Jianxing, President of Zhejiang Gongshang University, Fu Mingli, Distinguished Expert of China Southern Power Grid Research Institute, Chen Lixin, Vice Dean of School of Materials Science of Zhejiang University, Cao Xiaolong, Professor of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xu Yang, Director of Insulation Teaching and Research Section of School of Electrical Engineering of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Chen Xiangrong, Director of Power System Automation of School of Electrical Engineering of Zhejiang University, Tao Dongming, Deputy Secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission of Tsinghua Yangtze River Delta Research Institute, etc, this paper puts forward some opinions and suggestions on the business model, development trend, industry-university-research model, R & D innovation, management operation, personnel training and so on.

Professor Zhong Lisheng, director of the High-end Cable Collaborative Innovation Research Center of Xi'an Jiaotong University, made a concluding speech on behalf of the Academic Advisory Committee. He proposed that in order to make the Cable Research Institute a benchmark for the industry-university-research platform, two swords must be cast: one is technological innovation. We should devote ourselves to the research and development of high-end products with high quality, high level and high premium ability; at the same time, we should take the road of intelligent manufacturing and create intelligent and intelligent cable products; the second is mechanism innovation. With the layout of the whole industry chain, we will build an operation and management mechanism around the needs of collaborative innovation, actively create an innovative atmosphere, and ensure the vitality of scientific and technological innovation with a sound incentive mechanism, so that the Cable Research Institute will become an innovation leader in the cable industry.

Wang Tingge expressed his warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the guests for their presence and sharing, and delivered an important speech on behalf of the Council of the Cable Research Institute. He pointed out that "the story of spring comes from the thinking of winter". All experts and scholars are leaders in various fields in the cable and other industries. They can come to the meeting specially, and proceed from the actual development of the cable industry in Zhongda. Accurate analysis and judgment, new perspectives, and practical suggestions are of great significance to the development of the group's high-end industry. Looking to the future, I hope that experts and scholars will continue to make suggestions for the development of the cable industry, with cable research. The hospital is a platform to work together and seek common development, focusing on the following three aspects:

first, adhere to the deepening of innovation-driven, accelerate the transformation of results. Zhongda Group has always attached great importance to the development of the cable industry, especially the process of scientific and technological innovation. It is hoped that CUHK Industrial and CUHK Yuantong Cable Team will adhere to R & D and innovation, build a cable science and technology innovation system combining production, teaching and research with the help of the platform of the Cable Research Institute, realize the effective transformation of core technologies and scientific and technological achievements, further improve product quality, form unique advantages of the industry, and seize the head in the red sea of the cable industry.

The second is to insist on improving the dynamic mechanism and continuously introduce professional talents. "The Lord is wise". Cable business through the cycle, to achieve sustained breakthrough growth, we must rely on a strong scientific research personnel. It is hoped that the Cable Research Institute will adhere to the linkage between endogenous and external forces in the mechanism construction, explore the innovative business model of the Institute, create an incentive mechanism with competitive advantages and characteristics, and attract more experts and scholars around the world.

The third is to persist in creating value for customers and empowering social development. As a key project of the group's high-standard planning and high-start research, the Cable Research Institute must always uphold the group's core spirit of "creating value for customers", and create more and better business with greater technological progress and better business models.
